Blanket Ghost is the synth-pop project of Gus Marsden, who started releasing music under the name from bedroom studios at the age of 17 as an outlet to express the trials of being a conscious being.

The project’s sound has grown up alongside them, departing from melancholic lo-fi to its current synth-pop adolescence. In 2025, Marsden joined forces with drummer/percussionist Josh Martens, who brings a powerful energy to live performances and future recordings (more details TBA).

Blanket Ghost is actively performing around Boise, ID, and is eager to connect with new audiences and artists alike.
